The Econet Controls Z-Wave Bulldog-IV Smart Water Valve is a motorized valve with 1 inch NPT threaded fittings that lets you turn your existing water valves into a smart water valves and say goodbye to water leaks causing damage and disaster. You can have a peace of mind even when you're on vacation that your home is protected against water leaks caused by damaged or defective appliances, water heaters or broken pipes that can cause costly water damage. The Econet Bulldog-IV works with Z-Wave compatible hubs or automation systems without Z-Wave using a direct relay contact closure connection.

• Turn your water valve into a smart valve
  

  Turn your existing water valve into an automatic water valve, so you'll be able to shut off the water supply automatically (when paired with an automation system and water sensor). You do not have to worry about water leaks when you're on vacation halfway around the world.  
  

• Leak Alerts to your phone

  Get leak alerts directly to your phone, so you'll know immediately as soon any leaks are detected and you can take the necessary steps to turn the water off immediately and prevent further damage.

• Automatically turn off water supply 
  

  Automatically shut off the water supply the moment any water is detected (when paired with an automation system and water sensors) to prevent further water damage even if you can't come home in time to turn off the valves.
  

• High Torque Motor
  

  The Bulldog-IV offers a much higher torque motor than many competing motorized valves to ensure reliable closing of the water valve when it is necessary.
  

• In-App Control

  When you set up the Econet Controls Z-Wave Bulldog-IV Smart Water Valve, you will be able to control it from the app, so when leaks are detected, you can immediately turn the water off from the app.

• Away Mode

  You have the ability to set the valve to "away mode" and this mode will shut the water off automatically.

• Works with Z-Wave or non-Z-Wave automation systems
  

  The Econet Bulldog-IV works with Z-Wave compatible hubs or automation systems without Z-Wave using a direct relay contact closure connection*. 
  

*NOTE: To use with dry contact relay input the module needs to be programmed to support this.  Connection will be made using a standard 2.5mm plug (not included).
